-Clay County, Illinois – August 2008
This 304 acre piece of farmland in southern Illinois was in the family operation for years. As Patrick worked with the heir, Westchester exceeded the seller’s expectations and sold the farm to 5 different buyers for $4,006 per acre. The farm sold for a total of $1,218,000.
-Jasper County, Missouri – May 2008
This hunting and pasture land drew the attention of 24 bidders which included farmland buyers as well as investors and recreational buyers. Patrick worked with a corporate client wanting to dispose of an unused asset of which was part of an electric company. The close of bidding saw 4 successful bidders spend $772,800 or approximately $1,927 per acre.
-Stark County, Illinois – April 2008
Patrick collaborated diligently with this family farm client to prepare an auction that exceeded the sellers’ expectations by a long shot. Two local bidders competed intensely to see the land sell for $8,788 per acre, and in the end, one bidder purchased this family farmland for a total of $1,450,000.
-Texas CRP Land Auction – March 2008
Patrick worked with an investment client to help maximize returns on this CRP land in the panhandle of Texas. He was able to exceed the expectations of clients and area residents as this 3,774 acres sold for $2.1M.
-Vermilion County, Illinois Auction – December 2007
This 830 acre farm was the product of generations of a local Collison, IL family farming operation. Patrick helped piece together all the logistics for this family to make this sale successful. The buyers were a mix of investors and local farmers paying a total of $3.4M for the land.
